The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - William Finn's musical stops at National starting next Tuesday.

The Women of Brewster Place, the Musical - Molly Smith directs the world premiere of a musical by Tim Acito.

Kindertransport - A dramatization of an unbelievably little known phenomenon of World War II, the work of the Movement for the Care of Children from Germany, opens at Annapolis' Colonial Players.

redshirts - Round House mounts the world premiere of a play about "race and academics in big-time college football" at the Silver Spring facility.

The Battle for Shallowford - An intriguing play set on the night of Orson Welles' famous "War of the Worlds" broadcast opens in Bowie.
