Broadway: Three
Generations
To re-open the Eisenhower after its 17-month renovation, Signature Theatre's
Eric Schaeffer will direct an evening with abbreviated versions of three
Broadway musicals from three eras of the "Great White Way" as a concert
featuring Max von Essen and Randy Graff. The three musicals are: the
Gershwin hit Girl Crazy, Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph
Stein's Fiddler on the Roof and Henry Krieger and Bill Russell's
Side Show.

Stacey Keach is Richard Nixon in the national touring company of Peter
Morgan's dramatization of the famous post-resignation interviews conducted
by talk show host David Frost.

Ragtime
Marcia Milgrom Dodge directs a new production of the last great musical of
the twentieth century, Stephen Flarerty, Lynn Ahrens and Terrence McNally's
adaptation of E. L. Doctorow's novel.

Awakening
The national tour of the 2007 Best Musical Tony Award winner features the
rock score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater for a coming of age story of
teenagers in 1891 Germany. |
