The Music Man
Meredith Wilson’s musical comedy set in turn of the twentieth century small town Iowa tells the story of a con man who sells an entire town on the need for a marching band because there is “Trouble in River City.” He builds their dreams of hearing “76 Trombones” march down Main Street. But “Marion the Librarian” knows he’s a fake.
