Mariela in the Desert
Karen Zacarías' "deadly mystery" set in the desert of Mexico in 1950 where the former colleagues of the likes of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo face the disappearance of their daughter. Performances will be in the Harris Theater.

June 13 - 29, 2008
Two-Bit Taj Mahal
A mystery by Paul D’Andrea based on an unsolved FBI case will be performed in TheaterSpace.

First Light Discovery Program – Student Plays
Staged readings of the winners of the student playwriting competition will be delivered in the Black Box theater. The high school winner will be read at 11 am. The collegiate winner will be read at 4:30 pm.

The Generations Playwriting Project
A family-focused performance of ten-minute plays developed as a collaboration between the senior citizens of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and young playwrights from the Acting for Young People’s Summer Arts Camp will be performed at 5 pm in TheaterSpace.

First Light Discovery Program – Professional Plays
Two readings will be delivered in the Black Box theater, one at 10 am and the other at 4:30 pm.
